i'm skeered it will be shitty compared to one of my favorite series. but. will try.

just about done with episode 01 of Altered Carbon and....... it's kinda fun but, SUPER not a fan of the changes in the story so far. and i'm cool with different versions of a story. sometimes the written word translates horribly to visual media without adjustments.

but everything different so far feels..... like a bad choice.

we'll see!

Just started episode 4. 3 got me on board. I like these characters a lot. I like this world a lot. Good shit.

i don't..... know how to feel about Clovey The Second. like, it was completely unrelated to Cloverfield, they added the ending section and renamed it to try to make it more profitable...... so.... like. that's kinda. shitty.

but it was really good.

I think the story with the last movie was that it wasn't going to end up being released till jj jbrams bought it and squeezed it into the Cloverfield universe or whatever.

Seems like something similar happened with this one. Development hell for a couple years, doubts about even being finished, BAM! JBRAM!
