Don't know if I said this but the Jim Carrey documentary (Jim and Andy), blew me away. Literally fucked my brain. I am 100% in the same thinking pattern as him it seems. It was weird how much of his seeming craziness I could relate to.

Finished it. I'd say the episodes are about 50/50 bad to good. Some might as well be early '00s Sci-fi Channel cheese, while others manage to ask a few fairly interesting questions and capture some pretty tangible PKD paranoia. It does play all of it 100% straight, though, even the stuff that realllllly should be accompanied by a knowing wink.

If Black Mirror is the new Twilight Zone, Electric Dreams is the new late 90's Showtime reboot of The Outer Limits.

It was really weird to watch. I don't know if that's why it seems like he had a mental break and is just unhinged now or if he finally just reached a level of fame and fortune to stop caring, but... Just weird. Tough to play a character that is a character of the character you're playing.

If it helped Eternal Sunshine actually come about though, well... I'm happy for it. Probably my favorite Carrey flick.

Don't know if this has been mentioned here yet (I'm sure it has) but Santa Clarita Diet (Netflix) was a lot of fun.

Future Man (Hulu) might appeal to Idiocracy fans.

I really liked it too. The more I think about it, the more I like it. It helped knowing that is was comic publishing by Fantagraphics (a "boutique" comic publishing company  ).

It's pretty interesting how any medium of story telling has to adapt for mobile phones/social media/technology etc. I thought they did a good job at nipping it in the bud in way that was believable to the characters and story. It didn't seem lazy to me (i.e. contemporary horror "Oh I don't have service"...go fuck yourselves  ).

Also, Jessica Barden is 25 so it's okay to be attracted to her.
"SWIPE LEFT ASSHOLE!" -retinal orbita
"Whatever ASSHOLE here’s my pedal that makes humpback whale noises and also it has a built in sequencer so stick it in your craw! -retinal orbita
"Patty Mullen takes me from a ball peen to a sledge" -The Great Velvet Hammer
"...at this exact moment Divine has learned of your jealous scheme from the local town gossip. She also has your address, ASS HOLE!" -Narrator (Mr. J) PINK FLAMINGOS

I got a 3-day trial for CBS's stuff on Amazon and I'm trying to zip through Madam Secretary, ST: Discovery, NCIS, and that kinda dumb but kinda okay BBT spinoff.
FWIW: Young Sheldon is better than BBT. Better production, slightly better jokes, not quite so....Friends-y. :idk:

If anyone was wondering, The Magic School Bus Rides Again is serviceable but has none of the charm of the original.

So much fun. Very offbeat humor. Regular show is great too. I thought they were in a mild circle of hell for the longest time.
