Ring (and/or Balanced) Modulation for the modulator masses

Does the Moog Minifooger have any carrier wave bleedthrough? I'm looking for a quieter analog option than my Gonkulator RI, which isn't excessively noisy, but still audibly oscillates when engaged.

The MF Ring doesn't have an LFO, so it won't oscillate when engaged. But according to the article Chank posted, that's probably why it doesn't bleed either. If you're running lots of gain the decay of your notes will have a lot of ring modulation but other than that it's pretty quiet.

I think he means lfo as carrier. The minifooger carrier has more range than the gonk (but both go into the higher side of lfo territory).

Are there any miniature (Mooer-sized) ring modulators available?

There are some RMs in the Mooer budget range. (can't recall a Mooer or Hotone RM though) These Aural Dream pedals have a reputation for lacking in build quality, but they're only about $68 NIB. Possibly worth rehousing or circuit-bending?

That super ring looks super cool. I love the waveform options. I like high end ringmod bit I can also get down with the super cheap.
