Simon you going to post those Bitquest pictures or what? Come on! It's been like half a day bro!!! HALF A FUCKING DAY!!!!!

Two quick questions. Have you ever tried using pots instead of switches? Also, can you bend something I have. Wait. I'll just send it to you...

Im gonna start posting more in here kinda keeping it like a blog on all I do! As well as of course answering shit. SO JWAR: Fuck yeah on the boneshaker I really want to see more of what you managed to fuck up different! haha. Cause thats epic. About using pots instead of switches I keep it a matter of space really! As I dont want to have to recase all pedals I bend. Plus its a process of finding the best working value on the pot so it takes alot more time to do as well. If you want to be able to have a pot that you dont need to also have a switch just to turn that knob on and off then you really need to find the correct value! haha. Will be alot more pedals coming with pots actually that I have just done. ELECTRO FAUSTUS GUITAR DISRUPTER TURNED OUT AMAZING!!

Bitquest could have turned out better with pots but there is noooo space at all in there so its just 3 switches on my first version. I might try to add a pot... maybe. But Ill post this first version first.

SMD is the wooorst - but Im working on a new epic 1h long video on how the magpie tackles circuit bending - so thats a thing, hahah.

jwar wrote:I did my first bend ala Magpie info with the Bonershaker. Mine turned out slightly different. Odd. LOL! A few of the switches don't work right and I think I killed some of the distortion circuit a bit! LOL!! The parts that work however are fucking insane. I think if I was going to circuit bend this one more, I'd need something to solder to SMD easier. That shit is a bitch man. I used different types of 2 throw pole switches than Sir Pie as well. Dunno if that changed some shit. I get a really rand trem/stutter deal out of it now. It's actually pretty cool.
Did you ever decode why yours turned out differently?
