favorite fairfield accountant settings

Post by waltdogg »

lost the post that had a bunch of good suggestions for different settings for guitar or bass.

i've been using 0:0 for guitar and 0:1 for bass. i believe these were suggested by another user and i've been rather happy with them.

the 0:0 settings add just enough grit to guitar. and 0:1 crushes the bass signal just enough while still goosing the next pedal or amp pretty well.

Ratio at 1, Pad at 2, volume at about noon.

Sometimes, if I need more squish, Ratio goes to 2. Other than that, I don't really touch it. I just adjust the volume to where it needs to be. :idk:

Identical to this, if I could have this in an even smaller box with no on-off and no controls I'd be happy.

Ratio 0
Pad 2
Volume max
always on

Drives the input of my Monologue for some nice dirt. Cleans up with guitar volume.

This was pretty crushy! I like it.
I've been doing Ratio 1 and Pad 1, but this setting gets a bit more grit, which I think is tasty.

I like the Chank setting too, was just playing around with it earlier and it doth sustaineth stronge.

Usually I keep mine on ratio 0, pad 1, and volume at or a little below noon. It sits dead last in its pedal chain, always on.
