less low end from OCD? how?

Post by tchen »

after a long time of hearing this and that about the fulltone OCD, i found one at the right price and decided to get it a couple months ago. its version 4. to make a long story short... i think its a good pedal, but i think i would get along with it A LOT better if the low end was more transparent. i dont know if that means less bass or what... but the pedal just seems so "boomy" or "woofy" compared to all my other drives. is this a common complaint with the OCDs? any cures? thanks...

Had a bit of a look... depending on what model you have, these changes were made to later revisions of the pedal exactly because of the reason you specified, the mods came from TGP or something and fulltone put them in...
