if i could only have 1 pedal, i think it might be the driving notion. If i could have a life supply of only 1 pedal that would be promised to never break or leave, it would probably be the driving notion. i have thought about this a lot, and honestly it is my 'always on' pedal all the time every time i sit down to play or record. once i clanged, i never went back. and once i clanged, nothing else ever sounded the same or as good again. I run it into everything too. completely changes how you think about playing guitar as well. i use it with bowed instruments sometimes also.

You haven't lived until you've ran a DN through a Jaguar bridge pickup + strangle switch + max amp treble w/ zero bass and mids

I really want to try a driving notion. I was always like "it's only like $90, i'll pick it up later." and now no one is selling one.
