Yea I definitely am interested as well. I never buy Wren and Cuff stuff. Matt seems like an ok guy but I just don't like buying straight clones. I did love the Box of War however.

This is my favorite part of EHX's business tactics. "Oh you're selling our design for $200? Here it is for $80 easily attainable at every guitar store ever." Even outside their own designs, bless them for making the Soul Food.

no, I thought he was awesome on Rogan's show. He has some really great insight, particularly on the music industry. I will admit he lost me when the shapeshifter nonsense came up, but otherwise really interesting.

I definitely want this muff, I dont get the EHX hate - they do some of the most unique stuff in the business. Yeah, maybe the quality is subpar, but theyre also extremely low priced. in my opinion you get what you pay for and then some

The hate usually comes from the shoddiness of the products from what I've seen. They are usually make like shit and don't last long unless they are the older boxes.

Apart from that, I don't get the hate either. Maybe it's not boutique enough or whatever for ILF.

I think some people get bummed out on their graphics nowadays. Like, they used to be the coolest looking shit. But now they literally have a pedal with turnip on it.

Mike Matthews comes off as a creep in some videos with woman around. The attempt at art can be painful. Hideous colors and silly names sometimes, and I hate the raw sides of the boxes. Their aesthetic peaked with the utilitarian big box and Sovtek pedals, in my opinion. Some of my favorite pedals ever were older EHX but quality concerns keep me away from new stuff. Some of their difital stuff has an unpleasant high frequency sound in my rig. But I love they made a $60 klone.

He seems like he should be in Cheech & Chong, but the "rich old dude that kinda wants to get some but knows he'd probably lose everything if he tried" vibe creeps me out, too.

YES! This one looks ok to me but thats only cuz it's a throwback to one of their classic designs. The plain ass knobs they put on everything, this one included, suck as well. They make everything look cheap.
