whoa daddy, my Telecaster $OLD !!!! This pays for the first dump of modules I bought, which is killer. I am stoked to move back my pre-modular debt levels.
OR I could celebrate by buying myself the last piece* of my modular (ErbeVerb)

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

So I got the Folktek Mescaline back. Really like this thing and regretted getting rid of it right after.

I'd love to have a good filter to use with it. Any thoughts?

Also, still looking into the other stuff you guys have suggested. Just need to save up.

it's weird too. i have a good relationship with all the regular USPS carriers in my hood, and they even do stuff like check if i'm at work first (my work is about 80 feet from my house) or if no one is at home.

what's odd to me is this went out (or was supposed to) with the second shift, and they got close enough to my house to drop the notice in my mail box. why not walk the extra 12 feet to the door and knock?

It's winter holiday season. Your regular mailperson is probably MIA, replaced by an automaton that's running purely on coffee and spite. :idk:

yeah. out here they do two shifts, regular good time happy carriers, then ones that don't get done until 8 pm or so and just.... don't.... try.

DAMNIT.

i looooove the way that thing sounds. have listened to the SoundCloud demos like a billion times. if i knew it was going to go out so quick i would have moved stuff around and grabbed it days ago.

fuuuuuuuUUUUUUCK.

..... if anyone here grabbed one and doesn't love it, hit. me. UP. or. you know. if you want a little more than you paid now. just sayin.

DAMNIT.

Thinking about external tabletop sequencers... Pyramid, Engine, Carbon, Cirklon, maybe even join the plebs with a Beatstep pro. Anyone wants to guide my hand a little bit feel free to hit me up in the thread or via PM, I have deep interrogations to conduct.

hated Pyramid (WEIRD counter-intuitive way of doing things), would adore the BSP if the jacks were top mounted, LOOOOOoooooove the Digitakt.

Welcome back to the psychedelic culture!

I have been looking at the Rossum Morpheus.
Will order after xmax. Just can’t deal with the mail hype.

Here is a lot of very detailed exploration of the Morpheus... actually boring video... until you think you might be spending a lot of money on a filter, then it's nice to be sure of what it actually does.

One feature I’d prefer is song mode, which I understand the Digitakt doesn’t have. But maybe it has some workarounds? You just arm multiple patterns and chain them live? Conditional trigs can kludge a song mode? Sorry I’ve never owned any Elektron gear but maybe you could take a moment and explain why you don’t need or miss song mode with a Digitakt. I love the idea of a beat machine/sampler as my sequencer IF the sequencing side is deep enough.

How often does this happen to you?
Sit down for a patch sesh and after 2 hours your thinking, "What the fuck is this God Damned monstrosity, this fucking sucks."
1/3 of the time for me.
I can usually turn it off, come back later and "fix it". So I guess that's a plus haha.

I mean, it happens to me with pedals, so I bet modular is way worse.

jia. as of now, there's no song mode in Digitakt. the Elektron community is annoyed with Elektron about not doing updates on the Digitakt, but they have just released a few MK2 versions that seem time consuming. supposedly they will have Overbridge support for the Digitakt (so you can send out 8 separate outs over USB) and a new update coming by end of the year. and speculation is that Song Mode will be a thing. right now you can chain an assload of patterns together, but it's definitely not the same. especially for live/song recall uses.

i just love it because it's interface is simmmmmmple and makes SENSE, it does so much when you pair it with something like the Shuttle Control. then you have the 8 sample sequence tracks, and 8 MIDI outs that turn into 8 CV outs. right now i have my Shuttle Control so each MIDI out sends gate and pitch data. so USEFUL.

but the BSP is really good too. it does have song mode, you get 2 melodic and one rhythmic sequencer with a buttload of CV outs. but if i was going with that bugger i would either do like Baseck and use right angle adapters for every CV out or get a breakout box built for it.

I'm probably late to Pam's New Workout party, but holy butts it makes making intelligible sounding rhythms so, so, so easy.
