At least he's plugged in. Hell, in 30 years people will probably be trying to hunt all these "bad" amps down :p

I use a crate..

Then again it's a crate v18 which I've performed so many mods to almost no component is original, not even the speaker or reverb tank. :thumb:

My favorite bass cab is the crate 2x15.
Light weight and sounds badass.

I have a crate fxt120 that I love
I don't care what people say, crate makes the absolute best bedroom-volume-level stuff around and a TON of their stuff is super fantastic for live playing
and seriously, their speakers are easily the best to jack from a low grade amp.

Hello there.
Used this set up last weekend to record bass. The 810 on the left is mine and the Peavey Century. The Sound City and Ampeg clone I borrowed from a friend. Sounded nasty, in a good way.

I don't really know to be honest. It was built from scratch so I am guessing that it might all be seperated. Really nice sound, slightly brighter than an actual Ampeg 810.

From the looks and sounds of it, it might be. You just don't usually see them set up like that. Full open 8x10 or dual 4x10's mostly. I'm very jealous of both those cabs, btw.
