Sparkle Motion #001

So I have what appears to be the first Sparkle Motion, pedal #001. It seems to be having problems though. Im hoping posting here maybe Brian will see it and be able to help me out. When you play it on the full range setting it's a decent boost and can even get fuzzy with the bias control adjusted right but the eq knob doesn't seem to affect the treble. On the treble boost only setting, it's thin like the bass is cut out but extremely quiet like the volume on the guitar is way down. It almost seems like the treble isn't being boosted at all in either setting. I'm just wondering if there's a schematic or a component I should check? I love the pedal and it's a core part of my sound and I'd prefer not to lose it.
