opinions on orange ad30r?
i've heard mixed things about this combo, but either way this amp is suppose to be pretty distinct from other oranges and weren't made very long. anyone have first hand experience with them? i found one thats a bit out of my price range... but with some trades and stuff i MIGHT be able to make the stretch. or maybe i'll just stick to trying to find an older hand-wired amp... like a traynor or silverface fender. opinions? i'd like to try to get into the vox chime area... either by EL84 based amp with the right speaker setup... or maybe just a clean platform amp with a menatone tbiac?

What kind of tone are you looking for?
Personally i love Orange AD30's, really clear and bright if you want it to be, but can get fucking dark and crushing heavy if you want.
versatile as fuck.
i'd recommend it.

I've got a fuzzbox and i'm not afraid to use it
