CV guitar pedals and what do you want in a MIDI controller

Post by polyexpressive »

I've got 2 questions:

1. What interesting guitar pedals are there that have CV but not MIDI control? I'm contemplating if I should work out a way to add CV outs to my MIDI controller, probably with an add on box. I could also just recommend an existing MIDI -> CV converter.

2. What are people looking for in a MIDI foot controller that existing ones don't do?

I'm making a MIDI controller that's currently on Kickstarter (Poly Expressive http://bit.ly/polyexpressive) It's all about controlling pedals instead of just on / off switches so you can control every knob without bending down and taking your hands of the instrument.

That thing is huge bro. Like way too fucking big. LOL!

I mean, I like the concept but ultimately I doubt most would use that.

1. Goatkeeper

2. Surprise us! My Liquid Foot does a lot for being a piece of hardware(kinda), I wouldn't mind a LFO generator in it.

And yes, cool concept but I find it awkward to use with my foot, I guess for tabletop setups would work best but... tablets.

This is the closest thing to my 'idea' for a DDR style controller that allows you re-routing options.

My least favorite thing was when I tried googling it and saw all of your "copy paste 1 post user advertisement" on multiple boards. Nice pretending to ask questions for free advertising for your one-man Twister pad, dickwad.

Oh, this is a test/research group? I don't think you can afford our labor rates.

I want and expect, and demand, all the features of the Boss ES-8, only with 24 loops, and quad simultaneous I/O.

And a pony.

I DEMAND A FUCKING PONY.

And it had best be $299 USD or less!

Time asmjoining several gear forums.
