Taylor Deupree and Marcus Fisher also played a great set, obviously much more ambient and quiet :).
A lot of awesome info. Sounds like a great time but seeing Fischer and Duepree makes me real jealous. Would love to see that. Two of my favorites. Didn’t post it in this thread but Duepree mastered the first songle I put out for the album I’m working on and is mastering the whole thing. Really excited about that!

Hey-ohh

So, after the holidays I'll have my case about 2/3 full and then I'll be spending next year filling the rest piece by piece ...

This is where I'm headed: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/543868

Does this look well balanced? Anything glaring missing? Batumi was the last slot filled ...seemed like I could use some more LFO.
Is Cinnamon (and Rings) enough filtering? I've also considered a Low Pass Gate...

Largely for making ambient, "fun" sequencing, cinematic soundscape type stuff...the common criminals haha.

Well, to me, it looks like you have lots of CV control and signal shaping, so that's good. I think you're going have a ton of fun figuring out exactly what your rack can do

 seriously. That's what's been really fun so far..."I wonder what this will do if I plug it in here..." and there have been some nice surprises.

also, who hete loves their Voltage Blocks? i am just not bonding with it at all. it feels like it should be so much more useful than it is. the reset is always wonky and i don't love the way the menu is setup to get it to do the things i want (smooth not stepped movement is always a bitch for me). need to spend a few days following along some tutorials to see why it's not making sense to me, but this is my second one and don't love it like i thought i would.

if i don't click soon thinking about swapping it for a PEG.

lol. or a second Pam's. i LOVE the Pam's. always run out of outputs.

Satan thinks this rig is awesome but advises you to ensure some rack space is empty around christmas time.

For

totally unspecified and mysterious reasons.

Satan definitely didn't buy you modules.

Nope

It looks mostly really good but here are some random observations. Obviously everyone’s workflow and needs are different so take these with a grain of salt.

I liked the Zvex Lofi when I owned it *but* you need to attenuate the input much of the time to avoid clipping/hard knee compression on it, which I didn’t like.

I loved Batumi when I owned it but loved it even more with the expert firmware and a Poti to go with it.

That’s a lot of noise flavors and no S&H module.

Generally between Woggle, Pam’s and Batumi (if you install the expert firmware) you might be heavy on random sources.

Meanwhile you seem light on envelopes, attenuation, attenuversion, offset, cv mixing.
I've been searchin' for the dolphins in the sea.

This is BS for a eurorack module. Surely they noticed this in developing it and could add a switchable pad to the module itself???

It's not just the module, I found the same thing with the pedal. Hit it with anything hot and instant clipping

This completely killed any desire I had for either (which was a little bit).
