jacked-up jacks

I bought a brand-new pedal a couple months ago and I'm having a weird jack problem that I've never encountered before. When I try to a attach a patch cable to it, the plug doesn't really latch inside. It does latch to some extent so I can play with the pedal just fine, but can become really easily dislodged if I'm messing around with other stuff on my pedal board. Never experienced this kind of looseness with a pedal before.

Is this situation familiar to anyone? Is there any kind of easy at-home fix? Or should I contact the manufacturer and get them to put new jacks in?

sounds like the tip of the jack might be bent too far, thats why its loose?

u could prolly open it up and carefully bend it back?
or at the least see whats actually going on. why its not gripping.

If they're open jacks it should be a simple fix.
Even if they're not it should be easy enough to fix them, anyway.

I've had similar issues in the past. Not jack related though.

I've experienced some open frame jacks that suffer from a less than springy metallurgy (no idea who manufactured them, as it was in older junk), if you're gentle you can usually fix it.

That said, as a manufacturer, I'd want to hear about it... even if a DIY fix took.

Yeah, this is pretty much the answer I thought I'd get. They're enclosed jacks though so a little bit tougher to access. Might give it a try tonight. I sent an email to the company to get their opinion and - like crochambeau said - to give them a heads up. Thanks!
