I know the ones in Vidret’s post are from Raiph at Michigan Synthworks because I’ve ordered other things from him, can reach him as Altitude909 on MW.
I've been searchin' for the dolphins in the sea.

I usually hate menu diving modules, but I love my O_C. I find it very straight forward and surprisingly intuitive to use. The user interface is really well laid out and organised. I still haven't explored all the modes, but I mostly bought it to replace my Turing Machine and quantizer with the Quantermain mode (4 quantizers with the option to feed them from independent Turing Machines). I've also messed with Quadraturia (a quadrature LFO), Piqued (4 envelope generators), and Viznutcracker (I honestly don't know what byte beats are but this mode generates them and they sound pretty cool).

I'm going to a uO_C as soon as I can. That's one of the modules that made me go "yup, modular is where I need to go."

With the current trend of uMutable, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

So I've been getting some nice broken-sounding IDMish drums from this technique:
First I got nonstop samplechanging drum & cymbal loops going on the 2 Pico drums, so they're just like 2 noise sources constantly spitting out randomly changing beats, fills and rolls. Alone it just sounds like a mess of crazy drum slop, but when you let that chaos through VCAs (or filters) in short sequenced envelope patterns, all mismatched tempos are forced into that one timing, and all these crazy combinations come through the sequenced envelopes as a coherent yet constantly changing beat, with constantly changing clusters of sounds.
Probably not a new technique, I just kind of stumbled across it and it's pretty awesome.

Why not both? Sure they have a mode in common but that's about it. The O_C can do a lot more than Pam's, but Pam's has a lot of options within its one function.
