That sure was a rad fuzztone. Fuzzhugger Velcroar/Suneater can get close.

The intro riff almost sounds like a Fuzzrite guitar track overdubbed with kazoo. The Holowon Static Egg, Pelican Noiseworks Half Horse, and DOD Punkifier may also be in the same ballpark. The Function F(x) Clusterfuzz V1 can also enter this territory in the first clipping mode with all knobs but the volume cranked.

I second the Sam Ash Fuzztainer, one of my all time favorites. Can get those sounds yet you can still play chords. I really like the Shin Ei Companion circuit for this kinda stuff too but it really only works for single note stuff.
