That exit index tho
Pretty hawt, not gonna lie, but before I do something really stupid and piss my wife off is there any thing else more readily available? That’s the same or really similar that is? I love on the video where the trem doesn’t hit til the decay and the expression input is a must. So I really want a fuzzy, dynamic trem with expression counter over rate.
Or am I just gettin the index?

Double the price and not as cool sounding in my opinion.
Spaceman Effects.
At least if you buy it though, you can expect the price to value to double within a year

Spaceman effects is way outta my league. I’m really looking for something the same price or cheaper. I feel Like there are a lot of trem fuzzes but I feel like none do the enevelope likethis

Dude from Grooms co-owns DBA.
AFAIK, it's a design he'd been working on a little while, at least, since February.
From the sales page:
Not in design, and probably not in concept.Bartimaeus wrote:So this is their version of the wow signal, artist collab and all?

From the sales page:
I wanted to make a tremolo pedal to come out with Exit Index because, almost randomly, there is a lot of tremolo on it. I've barely used tremolo in before but came across an old Fender Princeton amp with tremolo, given to me for free, and decided to record most of the guitars with it. The tremolo on it is noisy and interesting and I used it a lot but it made me think about how I hadn't heard anything all that interesting done in a trem pedal in a while. It's one of the oldest, simplest effects. So I decided to try and make something that involves tremolo but really pushes it in weird ways. I like weird, noisy, idiosyncratic effects, so I decided to use the noisiness of that Fender amp and give it more violence, almost like a Leslie, with lots of agression and thump that can, but doesn't have to, mangle the signal. It can make really angelic, pretty sounds and alien, harsh ones too.

+1, I wonder why it took so long, but I'm happy they're finally doing these straight forward demos.askashrub wrote:Their demos are ill

Pigtronix Tremvelope. No fuzz, but maybe you can figure out a way to incorporate a separate fuzz pedal into the equation?

Based off their demo, the Exit Index sounds pretty freaking awesome in my opinion.

Exit Index is way more useable/chord friendly. But there is the Devi Ever Rocket.Bearstripes wrote:Spaceman effects is way outta my league. I’m really looking for something the same price or cheaper. I feel Like there are a lot of trem fuzzes but I feel like none do the enevelope likethis
I didn't see the envelope control part in the site description and after hearing that demo I really want one. It'd be great for tabletop and pedalboard use.

I dont think that there's any envelope control.
I think the dirty trem and fuzz might be parallel, which is where the blend comes in. And why you can get the dirt to blast through at volume and shy away at low volume.
