KOMA Elektronik Field Kit FX

Post by oscillateur »

Koma just started a new kickstarter for an FX version of their Field Kit, which looks very, very interesting.

(3 seconds looper + samplerate reducer & bitcrusher) or frequency shifter
digital delay (with feedback loop control)
spring reverb
4 channels VCA/mixer with tone controls
mini sequencer / envelope
Flexible CV routing to all params with 4 inputs

Standalone or eurorack.

The limitation here is only 4 CV inputs so you can't control everything at the same time including volume unless you route CVs to several destinations (which only requires pushing buttons, though).

Kickstarter price : 219 EUR, or 268 EUR with accessory kit (spring reverb tank, feedback loop cable, patch cable, contact mics, attenuator cable).

The price is good, I'm very tempted even though I don't need more stuff at all...

Just saw this today thanks to Ruiner. I had to back it instantly; I absolutely love my Field Kit and this will work so well with it!

this would be an insta back if LZX weren't dropping a standalone video synth on Halloween
I play guitar and modular synthesizer in Juggable Offense.

I know I'll regret this, but tell me more..any links?
I mess around with glitch video (mainly feeding N64 games through a BPMC Premium Cable) and have been wanting to expand into video synthesis for awhile.

Hainbach did all the demos for the Field Kit FX and was playing it recently at Common Ground:

They’ve been teasing it on their instagram? If it’s cool/affordable, then there’s no way I wouldn’t get one

Hmm, apparently wasn't following them on instagram. I am now and signed up for their mailing list. Definitely interested to see what this turns out to be
