Re: The Netflix Thread
I've been watching Dexter lately. Believe it or not, I only watched the first 2 seasons of the show, so I'm loving it! I'm actually happy I skipped out on a lot of these super popular shows. It's allowing me to enjoy them now, which is fun.

Oh man, I loved the first four seasons of that show. The rest -- not so much. I was hate-watching toward the end. But the first four seasons are excellent.

Is the fourth season the one with Lithgow? That one was by far the best. Show fell off quickly after that.

I didn't want to like game of thrones but it's pretty awesome.

I'm just finishing the 10th season of the X-Files. It's...it's so bad

Honestly, I'd say X-Files went totally downhill after Season 7, anyway.MrNovember wrote:I'm just finishing the 10th season of the X-Files. It's...it's so bad

Maybe I'm just in too deep but I'm now fully on the side of "fucking love" DS9. That said, the characters aren't on a level with TNG.

I've been looking forward to this. My wife really likes true crime and has been wanting a new show to watch too.blakestree wrote:PSA: Mindhunter is out today!

The wife and I have been yucking it up with season 3 of Schitt$ Creek. The chemistry between the characters is priceless, especially for a shitcom.
Dark Matter season 3 has also kept my interest fairly well, though some of the plot twists seem to be a bit of a stretch.

Anybody else watching The Tick on Amazon Prime? I just can't get into it, but I really want to like it.

I watched it all right after it came out.weebles wrote:Anybody else watching The Tick on Amazon Prime? I just can't get into it, but I really want to like it.
It's...funny-ish.
But mostly stupid, to be honest.
The absurdity is kinda funny, but only to a point.

Re: The Netflix Thread
I really liked it, which I started off iffy about from the pilot. I really loved the previous live action version that Fox had quickly killed, what, 15 or more years ago, and this one is different. But it worked for me. Only thing I found wanting was that it was just six short episodes.weebles wrote:Anybody else watching The Tick on Amazon Prime? Jackie Earle Haley is amazing in it.
