So I'm resurrecting this thread a bit to thank everyone who recommended Fuzzhuggers Algal Bloom. I snagged one with the blend control and got it today. I love this thing! Thank you everyone that name dropped this fuzz.

Oh its fantastic!
I'm curious about the V2 Algal bloom, but I'm never getting rid of my V1.

Re: One Fuzz to Rule Them All
The voice switch is pretty rad. If you switch it up it cuts some of the highs down, which helps me on my tele. Center is the same tone as the original circuit. Not totally sure about down yet but I'm totally happy with the original and high cut. The choke switch should be called the madness witchcraft mode... it gets really glitchy distorted and spitty.
The thing that really love is that this on also has a blend control that allows a clean signal to bypass the fuzz. So I get beautiful full bloomed fuzz with a hint of clean on top that just adds a bit of clarity or definition. No matter how jacked I get the signal on the fuzz side I still have a cutting clean on top that. It should be on option on every fuzz here out. You can also back off the blend completely and get full on fuzz like it was the original v1. It really is the one fuzz to rule them all.
Sorry I'll stop raving but it's worth a serious look

The Doom is my favourite bloom variant I've tried. Mix between rocking the duck out and being nicey nicey

I also have a doombloom, but I use the V1 bloom more. The doom does more, but the algal nails my needs hard.

Yeah I do love my og algal too and the doom can't quite nail that fuzzy yet clear sound.
