Alchemy audio modded freeze

Hey so I wanna buy an ehx freeze. I was looking at used ones and I saw one modded by alchemy audio that had an old arcade style button in place of the foot switch. Has anybody used one of these? It seems like that would be hard to press with my big feet but I'm not sure. I see that a soft switch is a common mod which makes sense but I havent seen the arcade one on anyone's board.

Also, are these prone to breaking? Used one's arent much cheaper than new so should I just pay a little more now?

Arcade buttons are built for abuse and super easy to replace. The only thing that might be tricky getting used to is how little pressure is needed to actually engage it.
