Fuzz Freaks

Post by rickenbastard »

Sorry I feel lame like I'm spamming but I'm not selling anything and it is relevant. My buddy and I started an Instagram and YouTube channel dedicated to posting our gear and we just launched our YouTube yesterday. The focus is doom and high gain sounds at loud volumes...basically just stuff we like. If that sounds like something you also like, check it out.

Subscribed to your channel! Looking forward to more.

I just picked up a Dunwich DA120 and it makes my Class D head sound a lot like a Matamp!

Glad you dig it, more will be posted this week!

I'm actually waiting on a DA120 also with a mid-knob added so it will sound like my Matamp if I ever need a backup option and for my home practice setup. Eventually I'll probably do a comparison video of DA120 through a solid state Peavey a/b'ed against my Matamp to see how close I can get them to sounding the same. I have yet to see someone do a really thorough and well-recorded side by side comparison of one compared to an actual Matamp with the same cabs etc.

Are you getting a big box 120 or the 1590BB enclosed 120 with mids? Looking forward to that comparison vid when its done.
