Acetone FM-3

Post by FranklyPower »

Anyone have one of these? I got one a while back, and really like it. has a very modern sound to my ears.

Prior to that I was swapping around an original transition bubble/tall font, muff-fuzz, double muff, and sometimes a behringer vd1 vintage distortion. i like the fm-3 better

just seem like a total lack of info out there for these. no diy schematic, hardly any yt vids. almost no reviews.

anyone?

Soundgas posted a vid featuring one earlier today on their IG. Maybe you can hit them up for some info, they seem like nice dudes.

Found some info over at FSB. Sounds like it's a Triangle Muff variation. This thread has all the info including schematics and gut shots. Somewhere else I read that the boost stomp just switches out a gain stage. But the place I read that info thought it was a Bee-Baa precursor so take it with a grain of salt.

when i originally talked with them, i just mentioned that it would be great to see the pedal applied to something other than a drum machine.

they had mentioned that there would be vids with guitar forthcoming, but i havent seen any yet. Im tempted to make a few of my own. its really a great sounding pedal, and reacts very differently to many pickup types
