I think I'm gonna cave and scoop one of these. You can't really beat a 80 dollar muff.

I thought it was true of big muffs that higher "sustain" meant more treble?

Correct. The sustain and tone pots of the Big Muff circuit are interactive, so as you turn up the sustain, the tone pot needs to be dialed down slightly to keep the same tone range.

Went to Guitar Center today to see if they had this pedal. The employees had no idea what the fuck I was talking about

I called my local GC and the guy kept thinking I was talking about the bass big muff, they had no idea it was a thing either

Maybe if you just show them a pic on your phone? or send them a link of a competitor's website?

It's really weird that they GC don't have that in stock yet though.

Got mine today. Sounds like a good muff. :idk: I certainly think it would fair very well in a blind test with something more pricey though, so I get the hype. I'll probably keep it around, although I still stand by the fact that muff tone pots are boring as fuck. Definitely nothing new there. :p Here's a pic for no real reason. Mix of thru-hole and surface mount and Russian Santa battery.
