This thread is a pretty good example of "This is what I do, therefore it is the only right thing to do."

Or it's an open ended question that invites subjective answers by virtue of phrasing.

I haven't been on in a hot minute but it seems the Username still checks out. :p

"Bass should keep the lows intact and the fundamental pulse of the song pumping. Anything that gets in the way of that is for insecure losers" isn't really a matter of phrasing, neither is agreeing with this point. Insults or no insults.

Please refrain from your usual position as a gnat on the taint of discourse and take your beef with bossman to the bedroom. I'm taking about Walt's original post.

Aka I am sorry if that wasn't clear from my OP my bad dude.

That really didn't have anything to do with "beef". It was solely about the point being made. But thanks dude.

there are also just too many nuggets to aggressively misquote and use against their poster but i gotta get ready then fry my eyes watching this eclipse business.

we can all agree, if we're sane, to each his own. i like my bass tone consistent and i play in a very agressive manner. mostly hardcore and dad rock. i get my dynamics from technique and that's it. y'all are crazy if you think i'm playing the only answer i wanna hear is the answer i already have in my head game.

this happens every time i start these threads. i even leave them super open ended so people can just throw suggestions out there. it either turns into a pissing match between me and someone who doesn't get the difference between telling and suggesting or someone stepping up to the plate because they don't like another poster's reply. literally three pages after i said we'll call it a day i'm getting a comp and another ct5 was nothing but a pissing match.

 @ d.o.s. and thanks.

and yes, making music is fun for me.

 exactly.. For instance I consider my pedalboard small and stripped down and just the bare minimum for what is needed for what I do in my band... :p it's all about choosing your own path and finding your own answers :thumb:

Projecting what ilf is onto ilf is silly.
The thread's direction since I wrote that seems to be pretty solid 'evidence,' if we're using the language of litigation.
