I am not 100% sure, it came with my 200S [which is not working right now] I think it is a Sorrento. I have a celestion BN15-300X in it.

Star Nova (running into the Avatar 2x12 with a V30 and a G12h30), and then a Vox AC4 with a Celestion Gold G10.

Rivera Clubster 45 (Yellow Jackets installed so it uses EL84s instead of EL34s), and an AC15 CC1x with the Celestion Blue, and the bright cap mod done.

Put clean preamp tubes in and this amp sings..... rich harmonics, nice cleans, good breakup when you crank the preamp, super happy with this amp, with the EC83s it was pretty muddy but now it's just amazing........

How is the AC4 with the new speaker? I still have the stock speaker, which sounds pretty good now that its broken in. I have a feeling that a new speaker could really make it sing, though...

For once I thought ahead, and made before/after sound clips. :thumb:

First I play something on 4 watt mode with the stock speaker, then something similar with the Celestion Gold 10", then it switches to 1 watt mode, and I turn the volume up a bit to compensate, then I do the same for 1/4 watt mode. I was just running my Telemaster into the AC4 straight, and then close miked it with an SM57 into an Mbox 2 Pro, into ProTools.

I feel like I lost a lot of bass response with the new speaker, but I feel like it increased clarity immensely.
