Quiet Theory Soundworks - Prelude (Reverb/Delay)

Post by affectperdals »

I’ve had this for a few days now and have been playing it a lot. I have to say that it might be the nicest reverb/delay combo I’ve heard yet. Tap tempo and expression options would be nice but it’s not a deal breaker. I’m really digging the tone switches for the delay and reverb, it really gives the pedal a lot of sound combinations. You can also set the reverb and/or delay to be momentary. It sounds really cool with the wetness cranked up.

The sound is just beautiful, there’s no denying that. What really got me (besides the sound of course) was the packaging. I’ve never seen a pedal presented so nicely. It’s like buying an iPhone or something. Anyways, kinda cool.

Check out the video and you’ll see what I mean. I hope you enjoy it.

Anyone else have one? What’s your thoughts?

Seems pretty legit to me.

I don't really watch pedal demos anymore. Are they all like this?

Your guitar sounds like there is some sample rate reduction going on. Particularly noticeable when you hit your lower strings. Just wanted to check if this is a result of whatever you are feeding the pedal with and not the pedal itself. A brief bit of the pedal bypassed at the start of the video can help clarify that, even if it is just one chord. Pedal enabled with mix down is not necessarily the same.

Great sounding demo otherwise!

I guess if you don't like talking or being on camera they are.

Hm, I didn't really notice it. I went back and looked at the beginning where the mix is all the way down and I didn't notice it. Sometimes I forget to add a totally clean tone to videos. Thanks for the reminder!
