I don't really know how I feel about it. I definitely liked every single song on the last EP better than this one. Maybe it'll grow on me? I'm still excited to hear the rest of the EP though.

Ditto, I take back my last post. I've been listening to the EP on repeat for days and I can't get enough. I also managed to read through the entire ARG thread over at ETS and I really, really hope that it's happening again

For a long time Trent's lyrics prevented me from diving into NIN's music. After seeing them live four years ago that definitely changed my perspective and I grew to love the music whether its With Teeth or Broken, I dig a lot of the new stuff. But this song takes me back to my original issue with NIN, the lyrics. I can't get past the bluntness of them, I think if I gave this song some more time to grow I can get past it and maybe even relate to it. The music is right up my alley though. I think a lot of what solidified NIN for me is going through situations in my life where Trent's lyrics hit what I was feeling on the nose.

Watched this yesterday. Great show, and I really like Atticus Ross being a part of it. The 'new' drummer is pretty cool too, especially in that part of Wish where he goes from banging the shit out the drums, to playing a beautiful little chord on the piano to compliment the vocals and then back to hammering the drums. Twice.
