The OFFICIAL Sick pedal symptoms and repairs thread
Hey fellow ILF DIYers.... I have been doing some repairs on pedals lately and thought perhaps we should start a thread to help diagnose problems people are having with their pedals.... We'll see if this can become a useful tool for our fellow members who may encounter similar problems...

Re: The OFFICIAL Sick pedal symptoms and repairs thread
Here's one:
I had recieved a devi vfm in the mail that wasn't working, person said it worked fine one minute and next minute just stopped... After demoing it myself I opened up the back and took a thorough look around.... After a few moments I noticed the power Jack was loose, I jiggled it to notice the pedal would come to life then die suddenly.... The power Jack was touching one of the pots and was grounding itself out because it was loose... I used electrical tape to create a cushion so the elements wouldn't touch again and retightened the Jack.... Fixed!
If troubleshooting a pedal that suddenly stops working and may have loose parts, always check inside that nothing is accidentally touching and grounding out.....
