Ok the RKM thing does throw me—I didn't notice that either. But the pic's obviously a Tonal Recall in the foreground, with what looks like a modded red-knob in the background... red matches the color palette in the background, and he's done this sort of upgrade-marked-by-knob-color-change in the past with the Spectre. I'd be really surprised if it were anything else. Maybe he's being a cheeky bastard though.

I feel like most of his stuff has that "kid tested, mother approved" flavour.

To be fair you can get more noise and weirdness out of his stuff than most pedals.

If it is a Red Knob Mod for the tonal recall I hope it comes in at the same price for the Blue Knob Mod. I dont need longer delay times from the TR but if he is getting another mode like reverse or sound on sound delay like an echoplex or the ability to make the repeats clearer or murkier (just a guess!) Then Ill be all in!

But yep, this is why I sold mine. It sounded great (albeit a bit dark, was surprised the tone knob didn't have a little more range in the high end), but 550ms seemed crazy low for a $400 delay pedal.

I sold mine because of how weird the mix knob was. I couldn't make the repeats loud enough, but because of the way the mix knob works I could make the main signal quieter. Though, that meant that when I turned it off/on there was a horrible volume boost/drop.

We'll have to see how the new one works (if that's what it is ). There's a store near me that got the Tonal Recall when it first came out, if this ends up being a Red Knob Mod of the Tonal Recall and they get one in stock then I'm definitely going to go try it out
