Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most places waive sales tax when you're out of state?

Yeah, I did it. I may even have it by the weekend. :joy:

Not if the retailer has a physical presence in your state. GC 500 miles away in Idaho: I eat tax ordering from Texas.

i have wanted one of those for a long time. wish they were not all so heavy and expensive to ship. It is really hard to think of what to offer (because the seller doesn't know if it works or if it is a serious issue), but i think if the cab works, maybe 350-400 would be a fair price considering the situation with the head? I wouldn't pay more than a few hundred for an old head that i can't guarantee works, and cabs of this size usually only go for a few hundred dollars at most in near perfect condition a lot the time (not on reverb). And if you have to sink money into a non-working head, with sunns, a lot of them can be miserable to work on from what i have heard depending on what the issue is/ which parts are messed up. I really wish i had some way to get one of these

I'd love to see the shipping to Thailand...

I did not. The seller wrote me back late last night to say he'd sold it to a friend.

But I did buy this yesterday, and am very pleased:

that is too bad, but for the price you got this for i think this was a great deal. how does this compare to other amps you have played? What would you compare it to if you had to? I have never heard any first hand experience with people i know playing through these, but have always been interested in them

So glad you're posting here. I wanted to talk to you about this amp but I've abandoned posting in the GAS thread.

That thing looks so sick! From what rfurtkamp posted about SUNN though, if it breaks, you might be fucked (let's not think that though) per lack of people that can repair SUNNS. At least you got it for an appropriate price. I am happy for you!

How do you plan to use it? You don't play super loud/in live setting (I don't even mean shows per say, I was under the impression you sort of directly plug in to the interface? Could be wrong).

I want to know everything that you do with this...plugging your modular into it?

I have my Model T pedal coming (soon? At some point? Whenever?) and I'm very stoked to plug in.
