Apparently you can't change the buffer size in garageband anymore which is just fucking stupid xD Time to switch to reaper jwar, it's only $60

Hey! So it turns out it's not Garage band at all! I went and bought a new audio interface and some studio headphone (didn't have the money right now for good monitors). So I'm set! I also have Cubase (free version came with my interface), which I'm sure will be sufficient. Actually either one will work.

I messed around with it yesterday on vocals and bass and zero latency. I just need to grab and XLR cable and I'm set up!

Any thoughts on how to start?? Just want me to lay down a fat bass line?

For the moment we are 2, but I think it's better to wait a 3rd to really start the project. I can do the drums with Midi programming and EZDrummer

Garden is out??

Surely we can find a third! :)

If not, I can start at least practice recording shit.

Maybe I'll just use a simple drum machine. I've done that in the past. Kind of build from that while seeing if this picks up.

I use audacity. I use the term "use" loosely. Basically I record to a click track and then smash them all together and adjust levels. That's about all I can do. I can use WAV's if yall send them to me. As long as it was recorded to a click, I can mash it together.

If you guys want a fourth I'd be really into contributing. I play a regular dildo p-bass, but the interesting stuff happens past the output jack. Logic is my main DAW, but if you work in stems it doesn't really matter who's using what software. Can help with mixing in a pinch as well.

You mean you want actual time signatures? Pffffttt. That's not rock and or roll sir!!! That's not rock and or roll at all!!

I'm totally good with singing and maybe doing some back up stuff for an instrument if you guys want to take the reigns on that. I would actually prefer to only sing. I love singing and this will give me a chance to do it again. I was sang for a short period in two bands, but they were totally different. LOL.

I'd be excited if there was an actual plan here. LOL! So far I'm just sitting on my thumbs. Lots of "hey I'll do this", but what's the follow through? Come on motherfuckers!!!!!!!

It's cool either way. I'm going to be at the point soon where I can record all my own shit.

Come at me bro!! Send me some drum type shit, some bass, or noise...fuck I don't care!!

I have Cubase and Garage band. So I'm sure I can throw it in one of those.
