Left Hand Wrath Deluxe on bass?

Anybody rocking one of these on bass? If so, please let us know about it. Wondering about an HM-2 with a clean blend and more tweakable eq. Love my MIJ, but hey, I'm always on the lookout for an improvement. Couple on Reverb now.

Those are way more than $22 for sure. Is the improvement really worth it? DIY maybe?
