Would you do this trade?

Post by ateah »

I got a big box rat from the 90's lm308 blahblahblah

and I'm trading it for three pedals
vox wah
eh pulsar
eh lpb1

I already got an old ass rat from 84 and this big box rat, is well, big. never goes on my board but I'm probably sure I'll be kicking myself for selling this when the value goes up over time.

but yeahhhhhhhhhhh

what would you guys do?

3 Pedals for One? Yeah i'd do that... forget the Mojo, it's not an 80s one anyway so it'll never quite reach the heights of there ridiculous values, unless you think down the line you might sell your 84 one and keep the 90s one i'd do it... but only if you know you want those pedals as there re-sale value could be far less.

I'd trade that rat to Blurillaz for some better pedals than you're getting in that trade.

Yep, that's the course of action, not that the EHX pulsar wouldn't sound pretty nice, but still. I mean, if You think You have more use for those pedals, than to the RAT, then why even stop to think? If You try to think investment wise, and You're not heading for making real profit in real estate business, then You should save the moneys and buy only rarities. But that is, of course, not the right course of action.

If you could use those three pedals, then yes.

so I did the trade,

and I'm stoked on it thus far...
I had a broken SHITTLY rehoused dano tuna melt trem, somebody stepped on the hard/soft switch and broke it, but the guy who rehoused it SUPERGLUED THE CIRCUIT TO THE FUCKING CHASSIS. so stoked on the trem.

I had a dunlop crybaby but it's older than the cheese between your mothers toenails and the input/9v input are fucked to shit and would always cut out for no reason.
the vox is brand new and has a separately housed 9v input, a vast improvement on the older style non clyde mccoy wah wahs that didn't have a 9v input...

the lpb-1 should be fun to mod as well as take a smaller footprint than my mxr eq..

just need some more PP2+ cables...

the only reason I was even considering selling it was because I have this guy already.

but yeah NPD x3 wooooo. :omg:
