Re: B.O.B's this does that. Ciat-Lonbarde BLACKGROUNDCORN
You should get one of the Lyra 8 kits that were just released today if there are any left. Super cheap compared to having it built and the thing is awesome. I have one on order but it's over a year waiting list for a built one and i'm no good at the DIY stuff.

Re: B.O.B's this does that. Subbbass and treble Gerassic Org
here's a listen to a couple ciat-lonbarde Gerassic Organ's, one has 475 hairy cap for them lowdowns while the other has a 103 for the highs. x-resistor in bass gives a lot of sustain, for the treble i've got it cut super short for klicky klacks

they are really fun and compared to his other paper circuits one of the simpler builds...still takes about four hours though. here's the linkAntlerface wrote:Super cool. Haven't seen these before.

I was able to find those multiplexer chips for around $1.5
ayo, here's a listen to the Death By Audio Evil Filter. Running one channel of a Lorre-Mill Double Knot drum machine through it and going through all them that there that it does.

I think you should compose an electronic tone poem entitled "Old Mr. Grassi Lived in a Shoe…

hmmm...9000 hours of intensive research and I uncovered this official photo, looks like there were 12 children living in that shoe...Old Mr. Grassi has 12 Square waves. the plot thickensChankgeez wrote:I think you should compose an electronic tone poem entitled "Old Mr. Grassi Lived in a Shoe…… I mean… cardboard box"

Re: B.O.B's this does that. Ciat-Lonbarde Madame Brasser
heyyo, here's a listen to the ciat-lonbarde Madame Brasser paper circuit. I hooked it up for the first time and recorded touching about, then noticed I forgot to solder the jumpers on a couple of the chips...so took care of that and then recorded a second little bit.
here's the info
http://ciat-lonbarde.net/dddm2/index.html
I still need to mount this and Master Brando. Then I can get to sequencing the feeback paths of Madame Brasser's oscillators through the touchable repatcher of Master Brando.

Re: B.O.B's this does that. Ciat-Lonbarde Swoop paper circui
ayyy, finished part of the Ciat-Lonbarde DDDM2, only part I can test so far are the Swoops. These are the positive rise/fall swoop, and the values I used seem to work but have a hunch different values will change the frequency and/or some other parameter. Here I've got them chained together pretty straightforward...the piezo amp is triggering one Swoop that is triggering a second swoop modulating one of the star nodes on Madame Brasser. At the same time the two swoops are also triggering one another. Besides triggering an envelope you can really get some nice modulation from flexing the piezo.

Re: B.O.B's this does that. Dogvoice w/Swoops & Anti Swoops
heyyyyyyy, here's a listen to four Swoops and four Anti Swoops modulating the volume and filter for each of the two oscillators in Dogvoice. Sorta just randomly patched the swoop and anti swoop pulses/triggers/triangles together, the two nodes on each module act as an in/out so who knows. The piezo/preamp for the Swoop is on the left and Anti Swoop piezo/preamp is on the right. have the save value cap for all the Swoops, read different values will effect the length of a swoop so need to experiment with that now that I know all of the modules are working. also have same value cap for each of the oscillators in Dogvoice, figure mixing those up is a good idea with a really small and large combo.

Re: B.O.B's this does that. Nobsrine synth for babies
hey, here's a listen to the Nobsrine by Ciat-Lonbarde synth. I'm not sure how its suppose to be patched, so I'm just making all sorts cause they all result in sound. The real action is in turning the two knobs which causes some s/h action. i fucked up an ordered pots with center detents so I'm waiting on some new pots to arrive cause these need to be smoooooth...ordered some multiturn pots too to see how that goes.

Re: B.O.B's this does that. Madame Brasser w/ Master Brando
ayyyo, got them Ciat-Lonbarde Madame Brasser and Master Brando paper circuits wired up to banana jacks and mounted. I guess together these make the DDDM2, a paper circuit version of his surfboard sized Din Datin Dudero instrument. not sure I care for how I placed the touch nodes so prolly gonna mix that up so they are all on the bottom for each module. Have the four exterior nodes of Madame Brasser patched to the the outputs on the chips of Master Brando. Interior nodes are mostly randomly patched to the inputs on the chips, then when you touch one of the four nodes on Master Brando it scrambles what interior/exterior nodes are connected on Madame Brasser. or something

Re: B.O.B's this does that. Sidrazzi Aluminus organ
heyo, here's a listen to that Ciat-Lonbarde Sidrazzi Alumina Festivibus edition organ. just playing the barres here, thrown a piece of aluminum foil underneath to mingle with the brass node forest at the end. Its running through a cocoquantus, with its stereo outputs also triggering a couple of the s/h inputs of the quantussy section. those related s/h signals are modulating the cocos.

those nodes on the back are to patch between the seven oscillators, here i use a guitar string to weave a random patch between nodes
