I mean all JHS pedals sounds so boring that I see no reason not to just buy mass produced pedals like boss, proco, EHX. I fell for the marketing hype when I first wanted to go beyond my standard pedals, and the guys at CME convinced me to get them, but I quickly found out how really boring they were when I searched around for other boutique pedal makers.

By the time I learned that they were stealing and also being absolute shit heads in a some cult full of shitheads, I already dropped their expensive bullshit and replaced them with a mix of boutqiue and cheap-o pedals.

Hahaha well... he's made some great things, but I'd never use the word "original." :D

Yup. 2 other JHS products used the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets logo and Charlie Brown's likeness (since modified to a modern art impression).
Permission? Ha!
I get such a kick out of the sanctimony associated with the ***faithful*** and their intolerance toward sinners, considering the patterns in the company's track record.

Reminder the modern pedal company is not to be confused with the legend John Hornby Skewes & his 1970s (Italian made) fuzzboxes.
This new operation stays getting btfo.

I don't care what people believe in but when they're so vocal about it I have trouble ignoring it, especially when they claim in other interviews that the company doesn't reflect their personal beliefs. It clearly does.
Who's John?

And "Recoton" was the absolute bottom of the barrel tape for any application and junker department store audio accessories of the time, the shit you'd get at a five and dime!

Knowing that they have supported anti-gay causes means that I won't even buy this used. I need to find a different chorus pedal.

Knobs demo makes me want the Julia so hard. Of course -- I will actually probably just buy a Small Clone. :snax:

I'm leaning towards 80's Ibanez SC10 for my chorus.

Donald Trump is supposedly anti gay, which means any product or service you buy from any American business that pays taxes is paying money to support his anti gay policies. In summary, so yeah.
