I have no idea who Ryan Adams is...a quick search showed he produced the last LA SERA album which I have not listened to. Her first album was one of my favorites of that year though! Long live VIVIAN GIRLS (they broke up).

I think you should be able to get Brian Adams to Summer of 69 his old VCR for you for cheaper. Probably sound better too!

I like that song that has Elvira in the video

I saw a picture of his pedal board once and it was like 7 chorus pedals

I like the sounds from that VCR pedal that I've heard

Youp. It's not about "childish ILF street cred" or "ILF builder loyalty". Buy from anyone but the dude who has funded prosecuting people for their sexuality. If that's ILF hive mentality, then I'd gladly be part of it.
What are you on about? When did Josh fund that??? I'm pretty confused right now. Unless you're placing a blanket analysis on Christianity in general and that happened with some group that I'm unaware of. That's actually very ILF. The blanket statement thing I mean.

We love Kansas City, we love IHOP, we’ve just seen a shift in our ministry to the business side rather than directly inside the church. Right now we are getting directly involved in funding several mission works in the 10-40 window and JHS as a whole is really hitting it’s stride as far as business as a ministry.
Then you can have a look at the Documentary "God Loves Uganda" to see how IHOP and other evangelical christian organizations have influenced the anti-gay laws in Africa. Or just start googling away and reading articles on their anti-gay propaganda at home and aboard.

For the record, I think several religious groups and organizations do a lot of good in the world (charity etc.), but I think it's only logical to call out the ones who are doing shitty things.

I'm kind of shocked you've not seen that stuff jwar! It's basically required reading every time someone harps on that company.

I never knew about IHOP and Uganda. I know Mike or rather did at one time and I'm more than shocked. I knew they were borderline a hate group and are a cult but not that they'd stoop that low. I'm going to have to talk to my Uncle. I'd lose faith in humanity at this point if he knew. He's the most caring man I've ever met, so I hope not.

As far as JHS. I never read the back stories other than circuit theft because I had a lot of first hand info on the church and based my disgust on what I already knew of them.

This is so screwed up.

Hahaha, as I mentioned on the Podcast, my initial ILF brutal burn-in was regarding JHS. MEMORIES :D

Btw, the VHS showed up in a Reverb ad on my feed, so I gave it a listen... really just sounds like chorus + verb. Gen Loss is far superior for many reasons.

From the recent spotlight Sweetwater did on JHS:
"What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?

John: I would be a Worship Leader."

I don't care what people believe in but when they're so vocal about it I have trouble ignoring it, especially when they claim in other interviews that the company doesn't reflect their personal beliefs. It clearly does.

I did that too! They're two different things. Gen Loss is just great...and I'm not trying to pump and dump either.
