Jack is there anyway you can do a demo of it without the Buffer Buster?? I want to see how it reacts naturally with active electronics.
It sounds great so far! I'm still not sure though. I'd buy this if it could replace something else. Wish there were local shops that carried Chase Bliss.

For you, jwar, I'd do anything.
...even that.
Thanks sweetie pie.

Spoiler alert: works fine without the pickup simulator
So I haven't heard anyone talking much about these since they landed—I know several of y'all got em. Verdict? Via search, looks like Dungus got rid of his. Who else flipped, and who's enjoying em?
I still have a chub for these but need some reports.

A lot of people said they sounded cooler on synth than guitar, which leads me to believe they are great for bass. Seems like this pedal was more popular on the TGP demographic than ours. But it did sell out most places if I remember correctly. And not too many flippers, so people must like them
JonnyAngle modded his for voltage starving and it sounds rad.
Hm, interesting re: the synth popularity. I guess that makes sense—my biggest impression from the demos was that its general character was rounder/less snarly than I typically like, but then again I can't get an ideal picture until I get my hands on one. Mentioned before that I played one during SXSW and it was fun, albeit through a little headphone amp and a PRS

mine's on my board and it's not going anywhere for the foreseeable future. i'm not some TGP toan-fiend, but I get a fuckton of cool sounds out of all 6 flavors, and it covers all the dirt I need...using it with an expression pedal live to blend in and out of drive/fuzz sides has been pretty sweet, and it stacks really well with the rest of my gear. and i just love all the chase bliss shit, so yeah i'm more than happy with it
I took mine off and put the Carcosa back on its place. I could not get a sound I liked without really turning up the gain and volume and then it just wanted to hum and feedback everywhere. It really needs a gate.
The brothers definitely has its own thing going on.
It has a real pulsing sound when sustaining long notes.
It can be pretty noisy on some settings
I've started using mine as 3 dirts: a, b, and ab. I found that I need to control the volume with an expression pedal.
It might be better to use faves
That being said I might start using it exclusively for my dirt with the band. It just sounds so good.
