Skinny Puppy, fo sho. Best two live shows I've ever seen.

Nitzer Ebb, Will, Einstürzende Neubauten, Clock DVA, Frontline Assembly, Doubting Thomas, Type-O-Negative, and Pigface are my faves.
My pot smoking days are over. I'm vaporizing now.

 I used to say gay as Balance is the new black but yeah, well, any new interesting acts? I can come up only with oldies.

EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN is so often tagged as simply experimental and/or Electric Body Music I have began to doubt myself long ago: just what happened since Skinny Puppy, when did Industrial stop being experimental? It's got all the aetshetic claims to the classical futurism and dadaism, it makes the modern ready-made-gothic-like-it-said-in-the-catalogue bands seem bad and the corporate punks sell outs. THIS, ladies and gentlemen, this is the shit :)

LAIBACH one of my greatest favorites, though it might lead You in diffucult analytical aesthetic discussions. ANYHOW, besides daring and experimental viewpoint to music and performance art, all the nasty sides of industrial are here.

She doesn't know it, but I'm pretty sure 90% of the reason I proposed to m'lady is because she introduced me to Skinny Puppy. Too Dark Park FTMFW. :omg:

 nice.

there are definitely still people doing "old school" stuff... be it Noise, Industrial (a la TG, SPK, etc.), or "EBM" (from before the genre became an annoying parody of itself in the 90's), to PE, etc.

I am not so much into the majority of Power Electronics since it seems largely dominated by Right-wing bullshit and machismo... but there seems to be, as of late, a lot of stylistic, aesthetic, political, etc. expansion in PE...

Whatever the case, Whitehouse is still kuh-lassic:

Yeah, though I never did - for some reason - really get into Whitehouse, :animal: :omg: it doesn't get much noisier from that   so probably should give it a careful re-listening.
