Yeah I often casually dismiss some of the greatest recording music in human history when I haven't eaten breakfast, either.

Dude, I really don't like the Melvins, but love Floyd. I'll listen out of general interest no matter what. Ya'all mofo's is crazy not loving this album still. How do you just stop liking music??

I mean, I get it in some case, but it's still a nostalgia thing even when it's not a band you actively dig anymore.

I kind of think an animals tribute album would be more interesting. Like, everything between the verses is a blank canvas to reinterpret the motifs however you want. The Wall is comparatively rigid... Shit somebody do an animals tribute now

I might have damage but I don't usually enjoy things nostalgically. I can appreciate it from afar maybe, but it became stale to me I guess and I started listening more to current music. It's also a pretty massive, depressing/overwhelming record at times, very produced, and I don't vibe much on that kind of music anymore. Might revisit it suddenly one day.

I stopped listening to a lot of bands I like(d), but because there's so much good stuff right now. Probably many on this reimagining album? But like, I don't feel enough of a connection with PF to check it out.

Floyd and Melvins are both unfuckwithable. Haters!

I'm in.

Will probably listen to this too see if it can get me to like the wall more. I feel like I should like it because I like Pink Floyd but I just don't really.

I totally agree that an Animals tribute album is in order.

you might be joking, but I'd prefer that to the Floyd project. The Animals are awesome.

That take was strictly pro-Animals, not anti-Floyd.

I saw them at Ozz Fest in like 99 and just didn't get it. I mean, it's okish, but I just can't get into them no matter how many times I've tried. It's like Primus. I dig the music, hate Claypool's singing (if you can call it singing).
