This is great!

If you do this collaborate soundtrack project again, I'd love to participate!

In the 1990s I saw a double-bill (projected on film) of Man with a Movie Camera and The Crowd.
It screened at the Castro Theater in San Francisco and the soundtrack was performed live by the Alloy Orchestra.

It was a fantastic pairing of films because it showed two perspectives on the crowd/the masses. The Crowd,
directed by King Vidor, is an absolutely amazing film about capitalist workers in a busy metropolis trying to
find meaning through purchasing entertainment and finding love at Coney Island during their "free time". It has
lots of shots of the geometrical/impersonal machinery of capitalist working environments whereas
Man with a Movie Camera is more lyrical and utopian in its celebration of how people can fit into the
kaleidoscopic machinery of human society in order to craft a egalitarian Marxist society together.
The King Vidor film, on the other hand, presents the idea that individuals must hold onto their individuality in the face
of the the impersonal meat-grinder of capitalism which churns individuals into a pink paste of "the crowd".

Here is a pic from The Crowd.

Finally sat down to watch this for the first time ever. It turned out amazingly! There's so many different sounds, but nothing is really out of place. Nice job! I haven't heard any of the other scores, but that one may have spoiled me.

My 100% unbiased opinion agrees.

Finishing up a super busy period at work and then I'll get going planning the next project.

Is this still going up on Bandcamp? I'd love to grab an audio version.

Thought about it and thought it would be better to just leave it with the film since that was its paired intention. I will pass along the lossless audio to anyone that wants it though!

If anyone involved is opposed to leaving it in video form only, let me know and I can bandcamp it.

working on getting another one going, making some final decisions in the coming weeks

LTTP, but this project was amazing. Criminally does not get the recognition it deserves.

I tried to watch this again today, and it looks like it has been copy striked. "This video contains content from Lasso Entertainment, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

Not sure what can be done about this. Maybe you could post it on another platform if YouTube won't cooperate?

I’ve submitted a dispute.

CoPeerRight_Agency_Espana, Lasso Entertainment Claims to own the visuals in 298 countries. Even though this 1929 film was released in 1929 Soviet Russia. I will repost it somewhere else if I have no success.
