In the past I updated the firmware. So for subsequent updates, when the script
asks what version of CT5 I am plugging in via USB, do I tell the script the version of
the physical pedal itself (K), or do I type in the version of the latest firmware (L)
that I last uploaded onto the pedal via this firmware update script?
there shouldn't be and firmwares with 'l' as the suffix. firmwares ending in 'k' work on k and l, they are the same circuit. if it ends in h it is good for h or i (again same circuit). ending in j works with j only.
for example the last firmwares were 0.96k 0.962k, 0.963k etc. but are for k or l boards
I assume that with enough time and good will I may have potentially understood how to do this myself but this is super rad. Now I don't have to go to Vidret's to get the new firmware when it drops.

That’s quarter-assed at best.
im not sure cause i don;t have a mac so maybe drod can chime in, it may require you do be in sudo mode in the terminal? (ie be logged in as root in the terminal) but that is just a guess.

Ah, yes. Good old sudo. Thanks! Got it up and running.
