This is ILF not Trump's Twitter feed. :whateva:

Also, pretty sure that your Klansman remark in the BILF thread makes you pretty close to the Trumpettes ;)

I mean, I could go and scrubs some board images, add them to an imgur gallery, and then post that here in the form of a link. But, really, would you guys have the ability to see that pedals from various builders use similar aesthetics? Would that be in the realm of possibility?

I don't know what you are getting at. Should I be flattered you used my board?
Most of the pedals that I see that have a similar aesthetic are also from the same companies.

There have been cases of builders closely resembling another builder's aesthetic. Adventure Audio (I think) had graphics very similar to ss/bs.

So this sounds pretty cool. Is this dude on here or do I have to be lame and go somewhere else to PM him?

Looks cool. Nice meme.

It's okay to have graphics similar to other pedals, it's fucking impossible not to I suppose. It was funny when someone described it as radical and that it was later shown that it looks similar to a pedal named radical. I'm sure the pedal is good, I'm unsure of why nshuman is the first person who reminds me of my elementary school cafeteria ladies, who got really really upset for reasons unknown to me

Surely you can't refute the evidence I've now laid forth that, in fact, a lot of pedals here on ILF except for within the same companies have very different aesthetics and feel to them.

If you'll drop this silly argument, that you've clearly been proven to be wrong about, maybe we could discuss whether the shape knob moves through the various waveforms continously or not?
Judging from the controls available and the microchip seen in the gutshots I think this is using the TAPLFO chip for tap tempo and lfo functions. The shape knob just dials through the 8 available wave forms. no blending
(all just assumptions)

He does not have a website yet. He seems busy enough with one. There is a thread about his stuff on Talkbass, you can PM him or you can email him.

Josh is a motherfucking genius. There's a bit of a wait time for custom stuff (2-3 months I think) but it's always on point and very reasonably priced. His production pedals (azure drive, sunder fuzz, lpf/hpf, joshwah(?), PLL, maybe some others I'm forgetting) don't take nearly as long but I suppose it can vary based on his backlog and day job.

I'm guessing nshuman is referring to that sort of "weather-beaten, post-fallout, old Star Wars-movie, broken down, industrial"-aesthetic that some brands that are popular around here use, but I have no idea why he's having such a hard time simply stating that rather than being not-so-passively aggressive. Chill out dude, it's ok to disagree, and it's fine to criticize the common trends in a community. No need to get worked up.

Pedal seems cool, got that vapourwave aesthetic pinned down and sounds neat. Moar demos? :snax:

Pic 1
- One entirely black pedal with skirted knobs
- One etched pedal with a manga girl on it
- A pitchfork and a badstone (same company)
- One dark grey etched pedal with warning labels and red knobs
- White and red model feT
- Unknown blue etched pedal with an (eye?) on it
- A ditto looper

Pic 2
- Pink DL4
- Some weird futuristic-looking tuner
- Superego (guess that's kind of futuristic-looking too)
- Hot pink 3-knob pedal
- Orange tuner
- Huge enclosure RM-1N, black and white etched
- Grey skies Fuck
- BUZZZ with skulls on it
- Small clone (purple)
- Eventide Space

Pic 3
- OCD with whatever comic sansish font they use
- Yellow DE pedal with Japanese wave carvings print
- Burgundy Algal Bloom with a dreamcatcher on it
- Nemesis (stock)
- Holy grail

Pic 4
- Fuzz pedal with a snotty monster on it and dripping slime typography
- Kraken (Gothic design and typography)
- Skyhorse with illustrations of constellations

Pic 5
- Fuzz with wooden enclosure sides and an actual voltage meter
- Fuck OD with water design
- Purple and yellow TAFM(?)
- HEXE The Carrier, with like a sci-fi horror font
- WoP with an old man on it
- Two Chase Bliss pedals (stock)
- Gigantic blue Glou-Glou with very sharp typography
- Kappa in a Moogish enclosure
- CT5
- Limbo II with a childish chalk typography
- IR controlled (?) expression pedal with lots of shapes on it (squares, triangles, sineish circles)
- Orange delay pedal
- E&Z Fernweh (floral pattern with yellow, white, blue, red, black and green knobs and a patchbay)
- ARF (pinup model with a wolf's head)
- Some sort of compressor (?), baby blue
- Memory loss (stamped enclosure with a fall font, red details)

Pic 6
- Part from the Pretty Years and LS-2, these pedals are all black, white, grey or metallic. They all have different fonts, layouts, sizes and knobs though.

Pic 7
- In Limbo II and Trem both by 80tape. Same font and layout, but again...same company
- Supercollider (80s Stephen King font on black and dark green)
- Light brown Fuzzhugger with a plant with an eye on it (handmade branchy font?)
- DBA overdrive with with tilted, boardered font. 50% black, 50% metallic. Tall knobs
- Rehoused Mini two big knobs and a broken/worn font (slightly purple)

Pic 8
- No idea what the top right one is, but it has a paint-splash finish and like 8 different styles of knobs on it
- Judder (zig-zaggy design)
- Possessed with new skirted knobs
- Revolver (western-themed font and front design (bullet holes and whatnot))
- DBA harmonic something? Symbols instead of writing to show what the switches do
- Military green Loud Truck booster with the L and the T being somewhat fused
- Unknown pastel pink pedal
- DBA ED2 (Light purple, black and white. Mix between text and symbols. Very 90s/SNESish game font)
- Some light blue and orange pedal with white, blue and black knobs
- Metalith pedal of sorts (pink)
- DBA RM (black and greyish blue with a similar thin to thick stripe pattern as the DBA ED2)
- DBA Soundwave Breakdown (striped, as the other DBAs, but in a blood red and white finish with skirted knobs instead of fluted mirror knobs)

Pic 9
- Two Industrialectrics (brown, rusty finish with big jewel LEDs)
- Two SSBS pedals (one with wavey painted finish in white and and black with the wired head of one of the CEG members. Vastly different knob styles and types on finish)
- A tape deck (Space Case)
- Judder again
- Afterneath (another wizard, as on the WoP, but this time you just see his silhouette inside a cave in a different color scheme and a LoTR-like font. Maybe ILF loves wizards????)
- Ezhia and Aka Blob (this doesn't look like anything else, lmao!)
- 4-switch PLL in black and white with a red border. Lots of knobs, but there's no wild design choices here. Simple font.)
- Evolution. I don't know what this is, but it's just black with a font that makes the V in the name look weird

Pic 10
- Lots of "normal pedals" on this board, and the companies behind them have pedals that look pretty similar to each other (EHX, BOSS, Eventide Hardwire, Moog, TC)
- Mini Judder
- Mid-fi Electronics pedal, cloudy blue and white finish with a font that looks like someone hand-stamped each letter (they don't allign)
- Geiger counter (yellow and red with a nuclear theme)
- A blue Mini (white stripes 7 nation army music video look, shape and layout-wise)
- Dwarfcraft Happiness (Mirrored design (split down the middle, same illustration on each side))
- Midi-controller, black
- CT5

Pic 11
- Bare enclosure with green text and yellow knobs Pladask Solen delay
- Frazz Dazzler with like firework finish and a font with very big spacing between letters and certain elements from letters taken out
- In Limbo III
- Another Mini

Pic 12
- Brown DC Baby Thunder with a cartoony lion on it
- Another Pladask Solen
- Another Mini
- Rehoused Hard-On in a winter camo finish
- Mr.Black (?) pedal with palm trees and "Miami in the 80s" type font
- Another In Limbo III
- EQD with monochromatic silhouettes of waves with that silly EQD font with lots of swirls
- Bloodmoon. Red to white gradient font. Man standing with hands towards the moon

So, which ILF pedals from different builders look "super similar"?
