I shouldn't, I'm skinny and plagued by less than ideal genetics.
I never "got" Chelsea Wolfe.
Maybe it's because I got over that kind of music/art style very quickly (I was into Karen Elson for a quick second, there), maybe it's because of the horny fucks that plague every video, social media post, etc. of hers.

I think this probably has alot to do with most of the ire directed her way. Thirstiness is just so abhorrent to me that I am instantly revolted by anything attached to it. It must make it a pain for women trying to do their own thing but thats their cross to bear.
Though now that i think about it, julie christmas gets the same kind of attention and Im a big fan of hers. Maybe its because she actually has talent?

Thirstlords make everyone feel uncomfortable, regardless of taste or genitals.
Having someone throw themselves at you is off-putting af, whether you're used to it or not.

She has moved from the sorta/kinda neo-folk side of the spectrum over to a way poppier version of industrial, definitely. NIN is a natural comparison to make for sure
I liked her first two albums the best, especially the acoustic one
