It's funny, actually. The Empress also has a lot in common with the SYB-5, but in a totally different way than the Infinite Jets. I guess it's more that Outward is a straight up SYB-5 clone and the Echosystem mimics the delay/envelope filter modes, whereas the Infinite Jets mimics the analog octave modes.
