Nay from me. I'm way happier with the hardtail conversion.

so i ordered the staytrem. I have some tuners I'm going to put on it when i change the strings. I'm thinking avri jaguar trem also. Is there any problems with using them are the string holes going to have to be drilled out and does the arm that came with my VI fit?

My couch strap arrived today also :yay:

So I put a jaguar baritone custom (e-e baritone jag, CIJ) on layaway today and I'm so fucking stoked. No pics yet, but I'm trying to decide what pickups to put in it, the stock ones are kinda weird and weak

I received the fender trem unit that I ordered for my bass VI, I drilled out the collet so I could use the trem arm that I have. couldn't find on for the VI only jazz master and jaguar ones. I have to widen the holes so the kluson tuners I've had laying around will fit in the head. Still waiting on my staytrem and new circle k strings.

How long does it take for the staytrem to be delivered on this side of the pond, for those of you that have installed one?

The Jazzmaster style trem works great on my VI...nice and subtle with no tuning issues if the nut is well done.

Big yay. Vibrato is awesome on VI and especially since I added the staytrem it's very stable.

Damn you people. I don't have time to play music these days (the baby effect), I already have a nice guitar (Jaguar) and bass (Mustang) that I don't really use enough but I want a Bass VI... Sadly the Fender Japan ones are not rpdoduced anymore and the Squier end up being quite expensive here... Well, it might be good for my finances at least:).

I sold my VI a while back and was itching for one real bad so I repurposed a telemaster XII string thing I had into this with a baritone neck...not a VI but...kinda close enough :poke:

(I liked the VI I had setup as a baritone more anyways)

So I went a little nuts with the spray paint. The new strings are fantastic. The new wiring definitely helped, it is now louder than my strat, before it was quieter.
