Alnico Blue over Celestion Greenback worth it ?

Post by JTurbide »

So guys, I'm planning on trading my deluxe reverb for an AC15 or selling it and buying a new one.
What are your thoughts on the Alnico Blue? Is it worth getting an AC15C1X over a C1 ?
I'm into folk/psych rock like BJM, Bad liquor pond, The out crowd, spyrals. spacemen3 etc. Thanks :)

The Blue has a bit of a different sound, but it's one that I prefer. Sparklier and a little more open than the greenbacks.

Me3.
Blues are the appropriate speaker for those amps...other than the vintage greys.
