Sounds awesome! Got clips?

Plus they're enormous. Rad looking, but ridiculously big.

Brandsmannen wrote:There is a cool video where someone does a sound like that with a couple of pedals. A fuzz face with the gain on lowest, an eq, a sample rate reducer (Mooer lofi iirc) and a vibrato. Might not be as easy as just a gen loss but it was cool

Could do something like this on a Zoom G3.

Also, Zoom MS70cdr has a delay model that adds vinylish pops and crackles.

Stompbox is easy -- just needs some board mods if you want true bypass. Midi side can also be disconnected if you don't need it, or have a smaller enclosure you're trying to put it in.

Fairfield Circuitry - Meet Maude
Holowon – Tape Soup
HEXE – Melusine III (vinyl simulator)
DigdugDIY – Ends & Oceans (lo-fi reverb/compression)
Sanzzy FX - Wow and Flutter
I'm pretty sure most of the stuff you listed is harder to get than a genloss.
Yeah, you're probably right. The easiest to get is probably the ZVex instant lo-fi junky. But it's a bit overpriced. The Seppuku Kompakt Kassette is up for sale on his website. Don't know if it's for real though.

Looking into the Lofi Junky, it seems like the WV covers that and more, the Seppuku is intriguing. Might jump on it. Will have too many beers and decide tonight. That looks absolutely PERFFEEECCCTTTT

Just stumbled onto the Viktrolux. The demo on youtube sounds a bit like the Seppuku, but less extreme. Industrialectric Echo Degrader is also not that hard to find. Don't know if they do instant tape simulation.

A kind soul hit me up and sold me a Gen Loss. It is tight. Took a few hours to figure out the setting I would use a lot, but now that I have it down it ain't going nowhere.
