Damn, what can't the DX7 do?

Post by JereFuzz »

Youtuber Power DX7 has put out dozens of videos featuring the DX7. Wow, it sounds amazing! This person can really program it to sound amazing. Here are some radio hits:

Here is a moog clone vid:

I wish Yamaha would box that 8 operator fm synth in the Montage into a dedicated FM Synth box ...

These are great! Wish I owned one... keyboards take up too much space, or else I would own a few. Personally I've always coveted that Yamaha FM rack synth the fs1r. Most YouTube vids of the fs1r are full of bonkers cheese, but then you hear a patch that drops your jaw to the floor.

Dude, I feel like a ZERO. I failed to do a nice craigslist check over the last few weeks until 3 days ago. I saw a TX7 for $100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was mine. The post was 4 days old. Too late! It got picked up! :picard: I could have had a small module DX7 for my collection :grumpy: Ships passing in the night I guess ...

]I've missed three $150-200 DX7's to date. It's painful each time and the dudes always leave the ads up for months after.

I'll get a Mk1 eventually. I went with an ESQ-1 in the mean time to prep myself for single slider data entry.

I had an FS1R for a long time. I really regret letting that go. Amazing range of sounds.

$150. He might have two of them if someone wants the other one. Haven't heard back but I'll ask.
